I believe in the Holy Bible, as God’s Holy Word for us, and that it shows us the way we should be living our lives.
I believe in the US Constitution as the basis for the greatest country ever on the face of the earth.
I believe that the “Book of Discipline” is the rule book that tells us how we are to operate and function.
I believe that our mission, as Methodist’s, is to “bring others to Christ.” And to make Disciples of Jesus Christ by sharing the gospel, the good news, of Jesus Christ boldly and without reservation.
God, Country, Family
I believe in a prayerful congregation and I truly believe in the power of prayer. I believe that we develop and nurture our personal relationships with God, through prayer and that is done best through daily prayer, both private and corporate (public).
I think that joyful singing and uplifting music are integral to a fulfilling and satisfying worship service.
I feel that a worship service should be a time for us to recharge our Christian beliefs and prepare us for the upcoming week as we go out into the world and reap the blessings that God have given us. We should look forward to attending worship and having fellowship with our Sisters and Brothers in Christ, that make up our “church family.”
I feel that our Christian journey is a lifelong journey.
I believe in Bible Study as a means for us to better understand the Word of God.
I believe in daily scripture reading and prayer as a way for us to grow in our faith and spirituality.
I believe that as Christians, we can have a positive effect on those around us.
I believe “discipleship” takes precedence over “membership”.
I look forward to serving the congregation and community of the church I am appointed to serve.
